This car had so much potential, was DOA in the exterior design department. The side mirrors are handsomely done when you just see that you think it’s some awesome rest of the car but alas, far from it.
It has always looked like to me as an old Dodge challenger vibes from the side profile. Good experiment with low grades in the design test.

Just curious, Is anyone having to deal with mark ups on their HEA car purchases? Also A dealer near me will have its HEA also in ZB very soon. I'm curious if seeing the blue in person will sway me to like that color enough to jump on an HEA blue now or wait for my TR pre-ordered vehicle.
Also has anyone heard when allocations for pre-ordered cars will kick in? 4/8? |

No mark up on my HEA. Allocations have already been released in blocks. First chunk already in production.

Thank you. Was curious. I'm 3rd on my list but haven't been notified of an allocation yet. No mark up if I go HEA. However some dealers are going as high as 35k over sticker for their HEAs.. Crazy.

I believe with steel roof it is body colored and Gloss Back with carbon roof. Same for roof rail cover trim.

You are overpaying for that exhaust. Have a little patience and you will be able to get a better exhaust, and for the extra you can even shed weight with a titanium version. If you are willing to pay, Akrapovic will have the goods available before you know it. |

Valvetronic Designs is working to be quick to market with exhaust options based on their G80/82 lines.

Akrapovoc has a better selection and was quick to come out with all formats for the G42 M240. I expect it wont be long before they have for the G87 M2. Is it expensive, yes, but quality may be second to none.

I actually like the brutalist look, the square vents and the overall shape. I can even live with the taillight being that far apart as it makes the car look even wider. I don't like the weight but I admit BMW is good at hiding it. I'm also willing to accept that screens galore is the new reality.
But I just can't warm up to those headlights... whyyyy?! |

If you are buying the car for fun and performance, then do whatever mods you want. If you are buying it to drive for a couple years and then trade it in, do absolutely nothing to it and enjoy ut just as well. |

I'm not saying no one should, it's just talking about buying all this super expensive stuff on a value car you may as well buy a Porsche. |

I hear you but not all parts are made the same. Exhaust, for me, is way more than just sound (likewise with tuning...I dont get a tune for thr machine gun or rice krispies effect, I getbit for performance). When all said and done, with rims, exhaust, downpipe and tune (and possibly a heat exchanger depending on what comes with the car), I will still be far under the cost of a Porsche. Will it be like a Porsche, no, but I am not trying to make it one either. If someone comes out with a quality titanium exhaust that has similar performance as Akrapovic, I will go with the better deal. |
