I'm hoping they come out with a Emira GT a few years down the road with better performance because that thing looks too damn good to have the performance it has |

An F87 started at $59k... so not sure how much it could start at below 65... but I think it will be around the 64k range... there are 3% price increases just year over year right now without taking into account a brand new model.

My 2018 OG M2 with DCT, Executive Pack, and Moonroof came to 61K MSRP I believe the base G87 M2 will come in at roughly $64K w/a 6speed manual Just a factoid the 1 M coupe came in at 46,135 brand new in the US

But yea 64k sounds roughly right to me... so probably 70 for a decent one.

OG can be used as a great reference point
The Comp was just under 60k so I think a base G87 will be 65K tops I'm sure BMW made way more selling the OG M2 vs the M2 Comp

From $58,995 plus destination was M2 Competition MSRP, so I could see the G87 (no options) starting at 63,995 plus des.
Markup is a whole other story, the dealer's ADM at the original April 2016 M2 launch was absolutely shameless, where it was Wild West of dealer pricing. I expect similar behavior at the G87 release. I figure it's going to be a good two years after its initial run before it stabilizes to the set MSRP. So whip out the ass lube if you want to be the new kid on the block with a shiny new G87 M2. |

Hard to sell this car at $65k starting price when the M2C is a 2nd car with low miles for most, so there are plenty nearly new ones out there for a better price.

It's going to be $64k base probably, I doubt one will be able to be purchased with common options like Exec equivalent etc. at less than $69k. The market has moved up in price and this car starts out much closer to the M3/M4 than the F87 did.

5-10% more then the exiting F87 each region is different. Also there will be more options for the G87 that can push it up way more then the F87. I think it will start about the same price as a fully loaded M240IX
