Only the front of the cars painted surfaces. Won't be doing PPF on the complète fenders or the whole car. Don't find it necessary.

Doing PPF on a whole car reminds me of folks as a kid that had their living room furniture covered in plastic.

As an F87 fanboy….I like it!

The G87 is walking a tightrope of staying true to the M brand while simultaneously keeping up or pushing current trends. And the M-Perf parts are just an extension. It’s a hot wheels car for sure and that’s fn awesome. Next up will be anime decals. I don’t understand that trend all the way either other than anime is cool.

But what really like is the G87 is that it’s sort of a chameleon. It can stay understated and smooth or it can be loud and seen. Pretty cool situation actually. And it still comes with 3 pedals, and that’s enough.

The thing I’ve noticed about the G87 is it doesn’t matter what color it’s in you can’t miss it on the road

If my mineral gray F87 M2 is slightly dirty, you probably won’t even notice it

The G87 is an extremely bold design
And it’s very easy to spot one

Was at a local dealer recently for a BMW club event & they had 3 x G87’s in the showroom in red, grey & black. There was also a few other G87’s amongst the club members parked outside in black, grey & Zblue.
Apart from the red car they all pretty much blended in with the array of non-M vehicles.
The pick of the bunch was a customer car in white lowered on 1000M’s (attached).
Would have been great to see an SPyellow, Midnight purple or Voodoo blue instead.

I definitely like the G87 and I waited because I have a Techno Violet E36 and I really wanted a purple M2.

So I already priced it out minus the suspension and it comes to $77k with the driver's package. The carbon fiber seats are a no. If they still had congac, I'd get that.

But 🟣 and a MT id really what I want.

With my i4 I didn't want buyers remorse so I literally check every box except the external carbon package. I didn't like the interior colors so I got individual merino. So same thing with the M2, everything except the carbon buckets that you can get with a MT.

I get stopped, thumbs up, people constantly asking about and pointing at my G87. Never happened in my M2C, so I agree it seems much more noticeable to people.
