It’s pretty freakin loud. I may be looking at your resonated single.
I actually love the tone (raw/harsh) but the volume, even in comfort is pretty loud.

I dont have personal experience with the G87 exhaust, but it looks almost identical to the G82 setup, and I have that MAD setup on my car.

With the stock downpipes, it's not loud at all; it's perfectly balanced.

Yeah I can kind of see that being you went with a straight H pipe design.

Is there a large difference between sport and a Comfort?

Post a video if you have a chance.

Haven’t messed with Sport - only Sport+ with valve controller fully opened.
LOL! Thought I was driving Top Fuel. It sounded freakin amazing. And I haven’t gotten it over 5k rpm yet, or WOT. Can’t wait to let er rip. Got a LOT of miles to get through first though.

I’ll let you know if there’s much diff between Sport and Comfort.

Mr. Hankey

That ugly udder was the #1 reason - and really the only reason - I wanted an aftermarket exhaust - honest to Megadeth. I would have done it if someone said, "if you buy this exhaust, a newborn baby gets its angel's wings." (Sorry kid.)

No idea the sound would be this incredible. There is nothing I don't like about this exhaust.

Running a JB4 with Burger intakes, MAD catless resonated downpipes and MAD resonated single midpipe.

It’s pure joy. I swear I’m getting more noise from the intakes after the midpipe install. Maybe it’s placebo. Either way it’s awesome.

Midpipes added such a deep loud af tone, the burbles and pops are addictive I cannot stop smiling on a downshift.

My wife will hate me on a M1 cold start but…it’s sooooo good.

MAD makes a great product. 100% recommend. Future axle back customer for sure.
Any sound clips, fly-bys, do you have any drone at all, is it really loud?

I think if I was to do catless downpipes, my exhaust would be way too loud. LOL But I gotta be honest - MAD's exhaust sounds incredible. I am sure my Dinan midpipe is adding some of the deep tone, but no doubt the majority is MAD's exhaust.

I hit 115db (android decibel app - doubt it's exact/scientific) on a rev to my buddy's stock max of 102 on the same app. This was with my SST controller set to 100% open, in sport + & M2 button activated. He doesn't have the controller but he was also in sport + & with M2 activated.

OK here is what I did;

Idle 100% open eco mode is 83db
Idle OEM setting, eco mode is 78db

100% I already did & all I remember is the max was 115, M2 mode activated

50% Eco: 89db
50% M2: 95db (got burbles, no cracks/bangs)

OEM Eco: 107
OEM M2: 112db (got burbles and cracks/bangs)

How's that? Anything you want me to test?

(Anybody else reading this not familiar with my set up I have the Dinan X Midpipe and MAD axle back exhaust with the SST valve controller.)

Carbon fiber tips arrived today. They sure are purty!!

The only CF I'll have on the exterior of the car. I think it makes them that much more special & stand-out.

Thanks, MAD! They arrived pretty fast!

Yes it is the Maxton. Fitment js 98% there. The tabs that lock into the bumperarent as effective as the ones on the OEM diffuser. So what I gotta do is remove some under-body panels and use self-tappong screws at the center edge where it meets the bumper to hold it flush.

It's a really nice looking diffuser - covers even the stock "udder" from the muffler very well!

The openings for the tailpipes are angled at the corners, too. Looks better than the OEM 90° angles at the corners.

How much of a difference in sound will the axle back + valve controller make with the stock midpipe?
