New M2 CS needs at least 503 horsepower with the size and weight increase. 473 horsepower won’t be that much better than 444 horsepower F87 M2 CS with it’s smaller size and weight. |

You can always get a base M2 first and then trade that in. Dealers usually look at repeat customers when handing out CS allocations.

I think this is debatable and time will tell once the reviews of the new M2 G87 come out. Look at the M2CS, is more desirable than other iterations of the F platform just because it provides a better and more sincere driving experience than the bigger siblings. This may or may not happen with the newer models....

2023 BMW M2 For US Market To Have 453 Horsepower: Report
When we had the opportunity to sample prototypes of the M2 G87 earlier this year, BMW said the sports coupe’s inline-six delivered around 450 horsepower. Well, an exact output figure has now emerged if we were to rely on an internal document discovered by BimmerPost forum user Tag. The smallest of the M cars is listed in US specification as having 338 kilowatts, which works out to precisely 453 horsepower.

We already know what the front looks like, even with the camo you can see it pretty well. It's different, but I wouldn't call it strange. All subjective anyway. We know it's wide or "Monster size", heavy and the new iD8 screen looks like an afterthought; nothing new there. I love how this car goes from being 444hp to 460hp depending on which way the wind blows. BMW said it would be "around 450hp" and we know it's actually 338kW / 453hp from the TIS info.
