23 hours old. Started off as a Cobb salad yesterday with a side of Mac & cheese and some pulled pork, and well 1/2 a hot dog some kid didn't eat...Add in some hydrochloric acid, amylase, lipase with emulsifiers, a variety of proteases and mix thoroughly. Send that all down a circuitous tube and dehydrate....I was born after a burnt cup of coffee got the ole ileocolic reflex fired up....Ahhh wait that's a crappy story....
49, 4th BMW, sold my F80 during the pandemic to pay for a pool The Boss wanted and I just missed the "point and squirt" manual that the F80 was and this is. Plan to daily drive it into the ground and to not fret over it, it is fabulous as that. Also my current track day car until I'm finished building my Daytona. Can't beat the price/performance of this thing in a RWD manual (well maybe you can after wheels, brake pads, radiator protection...etc.). Have only ever daily driven manuals, so also needed that back in my life.

Absolutely! I'm using this one up. Bring on the dings, scratches, and patina. The engine wow. And I love the manual, no issues with it. Despite me bitching about the brakes and the other niggly issues, they are seriously minor. What a great car. Perfect daily. Will drive it all winter here too.

using the M2 as JAC and getting real world patina and use is frankly a thrilling experience. every day is an event. of course it will be getting annual paint correction, PDR, ceramic touch up, etc. but these cars are made to be driven, and brother am i driving it. |

And of course the course is on how to do all of this with just 4 minutes of your spare time a week while you are relaxing on a beach somewhere and finally able to "live your best life"...."all you need is a Starbucks with Wifi anywhere in the world, a laptop, and of course 4 consecutive free minutes..."....but if you also subscribe to the newsletter, we will show you how to make all of this happen in just 2 minutes a week

So to make that happen someone had to leave the garage...F80 was about 5 years old and I was able to sell it for 2K under what I paid for it, and that covered the pool. So we got an early install, no price raise, and the pandemic used car market softened the blow of selling the F80 somewhat... But I've since bounced back after 2.75 years of no M, and The Boss is happy. Story of perseverance and triumph The person who really triumphed is the guy who bought my M3, he turned around and sold it on BaT for 11K+ more than he paid for it: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2018-bmw-m3-sedan-14/

That model RS4 was my other dream car when I was younger - first being the E46 M3. I tried to love my 8V RS3 and imagined it was sort of a spiritual successor to older S4s, but it just didn't feel engaging to drive vs a manual M car. So here I am and loving it!

I'm 44 and I'm getting Twilight Purple which is a loud color and maybe too much attention. I do look in mid thirties but I feel like the car is built for older people but looks like it's for younger people.
Other choice was a used Audi TTRS, RS 5 and new RS 3. Or a used 911.1 Carrera. Previous cars 96 Honda Civic 01 Acura Integra GSR 96 Nissan 200sx SER 98*2 and 2002 Infiniti G20 Forgot what year Mitsubishi Lancer (not the good one lol) 03 Acura RSX 14 Acura TSX 15 Subaru BRZ 15 Audi S4 14 Jeep Grand Cherokee Probably missing one or two..
