Oh I know, that sucks big time! I think they might have found another gem in Jordyn Brooks though. He has looked really good. I think DE Alton Robinson might turn out well too.

Just about every SB Brady has been in has been pretty close. You can make a case he should have beaten Eli in 2008, Eagles could have won in 2005 against Brady and the Falcons, Seahawks should have won as well.

Winston just won the starting job for the Saints so what’s the line on how many TD/picks he’ll have? 40/40?

Fair enough. All I can say is that I'm looking forward to this new season with fans in the stadiums. At the same time, I'm also looking forward to the new EPL season but that's a separate thread.

Yeah, that was pretty lame. I expected to see RW and the starters play at least a couple of possessions. At least they looked a lot better yesterday. Darrell Taylor looked sharp.

Excited for this year and looking forward to seeing Dak back out on the field.

Thoughts on this year:

Defense has potential to be average, but that's about the best we can hope for. If they can manage to hold opponents under 30, I think the Cowboys can take the division.

Offense.. self explanatory, they should be solid.

Prediction:
9-7 NFC east champions
Playoffs: Not even I can be that optimistic, we will have to cross that bridge when we get there.

The Patriots final preseason game was Sunday night in the Meadowlands against the Giants (a 22-20 Patriot win) and it’s clear there was never any real competition for the job of Patriots’ starting quarterback.

Cam Newton got the start for the Patriots Sunday. Again. Even after a “misunderstanding” that took him away from the team for five days and would have landed any other Patriot a week in the Cooler. Not Cam.

Belichick loves Newton and there’s nothing that’s going to move Cam down the depth chart before New England’s season opener Sept. 12 against the Dolphins.

How can you cheer for two (2) NFL teams? I’m actually cheering for the Bears to suck this year so the Giants can get their high first rounder in the 2022 draft.

They have playmakers on offensive, D is ok but their OL is weak. I’ve said this many times but this is Daniel Jones’ last stand. He’ll be the reason if the Giants don’t make the postseason.

If they don’t make the playoffs, they’ll use the Bears and their own pick to possibly trade into the top spot in the 2022 draft for a QB.
