This isn't meant as criticism but just being honest. I dont know of anyone who has shopped for lowering springs or coilovers based on their color. If color is one of your biggest/main concerns, its probably best you not look to add any type of performance springs.

Well, we actually agree, because that's not what I said. I would be concerned about ride quality first, then adjustability, then price, then color...

Well the thing is the spring isn’t visible and that’s why that’s a little absurd. The 4 variables you mentioned don’t share an equal share of the importance pie. The color should be <1% of the decision. (Unless they’re hot pink of course)

Hell KW is a world renown brand and I see those colors as a sign of quality.

Aha!!! You see my point!

To me, yellow is as bad as hot pink. On the flip side, I love the anodized purple.

In this case, it seems like there is an alternative which is the BMW part made by KW and to me, I don't really care about the price so if the ride quality were equal and the adjustability got me as low as I wanted, I would opt for the BMW part. I think the real question is how does AST compare and what other HAS exist? It's a rather large committment.

Ha I guess a tiny bit…I also think yellow accents are great.

AST did have some issues with the G80 kit so I’m a bit skeptical of them.

Fair enough...though I wouldn't care at all what the color is. Game I wouldn't even care if it was hot pink if they were the best quality (pink goes with Brooklyn Grey ).

Shit if the quality is top notch and the price is right, you’re not wrong!

Ok, so fast forward a day and I'm even wondering (even if I took color out of my decision), does KW make a G87 Specific product or are they just saying it's close enough to the M3/M4 variant?

What were the issues? I haven't modded a BMW since I sold my E92

Thanks, I re-read it. I came to the same conclusion as when I read it the first time, that it's not definitive but likely the same part that BMW puts in?

BMW heard your feedback and recent rumors shows yellow or purple option for 2024/2025

Hey guys! H&R has finalized the development of the HAS for the G87 (ordinary springs will follow). I don’t see them on their website yet, but I bet they’ll be there soon. My workshop contacted them and has already placed the order 😎 going to install them on July 31.

On their Instagram they dropped some pics, looks spot on.

Do you know if your G87 part number matches the G80/G82 kit?

Does the MP HAS kit come with different dampers? The pics make it looks like it does and I’ve seen some G80s with blown front shocks from both springs and the kw has kit
