Sorry to beat this question to death but I really want a mildly lower car and the Canadian springs that were linked from Auto ID are advertised as a lower drop but I reached out to Eibach US and DE and neither of them are able to tell me what the difference is and why they are different. I was looking for spring thickness and or any other details that might alter handling and ride. The lowering specs are on their site so that isn't the lack of info. Are the Canadian spring even compatible with the US cars?

3 attachments. Eibach USA, Eibach DE and Auto ID. All list different lowering specs.

Height regulations for different countries. I have the ones from auto ID on my US car and love it. Perfect drop without being too low. If I recall the US spec spring is the lowest eibach option

This is super helpful to know and I'm leaning towards this approach too. Do you have any photos of your car that you can share?

Are you rocking spacers in the front? If so how did you deal with the rubbing? Took off my 15 mm and the rubbing was gone as presumed. Now only have 12 mm in the back.

Cheers

Weirdly enough I actually don’t get any rub. 12mm rear and 12mm front on black wheels and 15mm front gold wheels . It’s probably time for you to get the fender screens to open up the wheel well space more (I haven’t put mine in yet , but not needed so far )

With doing track days, how do the autoid eibachs feel/work?

Any excessive bottoming out on curbs or everywhere at Harris hill?

Totally fine for the last 4 times I’ve been out. I haven’t felt the car bottom out or found any witness marks from any contact. I might not be pushing it hard enough ?, but times aren’t slow

I think they feel slightly stiffer than stock. I’m sure there are other springs that have higher rates, but I don’t have any complaints yet for a dual duty car

The euro kit does go lower F(25-30mm) rear (15-20mm)
https://www.tunershop.com/eibach-spr...ml#tab-apv241l

At the bottom of the page the tub certificate shows the EU version does go lower.

You got it backwards. The US version has the least amount of drop

Which after market wheels are these? I’m interested in the size and offset, are they flush to the fenders?

Apex vs 5rs in 19x11+22
They are flush with the fender only with over 3 degrees of front camber

Thanks for the info.
I’m not too versed on camber and alignment . What’s the stock camber compared to your 3 degree
I’m looking to get the same lowering kit and eventually get wheels. So looking for the right offset.

Stock is about -1.5 front and similar rear. Lowering will get you to about -2 which is plenty for street driving. But I wouldn’t suggest 19x11 wheels as they won’t fit without aggressive camber for track. 10.5 wheel with would be max.
Apex has a sizing guide in their website

Are those the US ones or the Euro ones? ^^ Dang that’s low. I bought the US ones hoping for something not quite that low.
