Silver too.
If you're looking for a yellow car with specific options, then I think you're going to be SOL trying to locate one on the ground already. Based on the fact that you're looking for specific options/color, I'd contact dealerships that are willing to order you the exact car you want at MSRP. They have to be around. Try the Porsche forums to see if there are any dealerships willing to do so.

The pic of the blue GT4 is my buddies car. He bought it for MSRP at Bucks County Porsche. They ordered the car for him. They have 12 allocations.

I won't but it would be interesting to go into a dealership and low ball like hell on a popular model. Brass might be telling them to sell! GT4 and 3 won't work for said experiment. 15' anything might though.

That said, the GT4 is freaking awesome so..... I would say get on as many dealer lists as possible for an allocation and keep shopping for cars that might available. They will make more so the markups should come down and people will drop out so allocations do come up. That said, if you see a built car with a spec that you like, jump on it cause who knows, even if you wait for a configurable allocation some options might not be available when it comes time to order/configure. Porsche will add any dealership option or add-on as you please. (Out of your own pocket) My base 997 911 Carrera which I've had for over 5 years now has a ton of Porsche Factory OEM upgrades. I have added over 10 options to my car and they are all 100% OEM modifications. For instance, I run 997 GT3 PCCB calipers (big yellows) on my car, but using 350mm turbo steel rotors on all 4 corners. Porsche parts are every compatible with one another. I love Porsche. That being said, I daily a f10 535i. BMW is imho leading class in technology in that segment . The ergonomics , comfort, and usability is far better than any Porsche , even a $200k Panamera Turbo S. |

Update.
The GT4 is one and done. Apparently MY2016 is the last year for all the GTs (GT3, GT3RS, GTS). 2017 will see the 718 platform (turbo4) for the Cayman and the Boxster. There's one allocation left for local dealer and that has a $15K market adjustment. March 1 is the last day for changes for a May production and June 17 arrival, which is rather fast. So this weekend, I'll be playing with the configurator and sending in the code for a quote. Biorin |

Same here. I heard Porsche was increasing the numbers this year, but apparently this was incorrect.
