MAX wasn't crying there while he sat on the ground .
MAX was really disappointed by the fact that Stroll took it in the last seconds .
Red Bull made the mistake there as they followed Stroll with the tire choice in the last laps of the QF .
It was Marko who said . Do it ! MAX refused it over the radio , but Marko had the last word anyway .
That's why MAX was just sitting there , broken from disappointment !
But also very angry , like a ticking bomb !

Maybe you watched the race but didn’t listen to the commentary...Merc turned their cars down to ensure they finished the race - securing 2nd place for BOT to finish ahead of VER in the standings.

Seems pretty smart to me when the overall race meant nothing to them

Hardly find RB winning and beating cars that were turned down “embarrassing” Merc.

Why would Mercedes sabotage Russell...makes zero sense.
And then apparently used Russell performance as a bargaining chip in Hamilton's contract negotiations....which would have been a lot stronger chip had they not "sabotaged" Russell's win.

So why sabotage Russell?
He had already passed Bottas for the lead and generally driven a great race (better than Bottas).
He was on for the win so deliberately messing up his pit stop achieved what?
Other than making Mercedes look like the Keystone cops...no one was fooled into thinking that Russell wasn't otherwise going to win the race.
