Is BMW using stickers to create lines on cars that cost 80k?

I'll have to see it in person but it does have some Subaru and Toyota vibes at the rear. I think the front would look better if the car was black. All 2 series have had a high stance all the way back to the original 135i, so that's not a surprise. I like the wheels.
It might look pretty good in BSM with coilovers, remove the stickers and the side winglets, but not loving this spec. |

It looks kind of strange to me but I think it'd look better on a black car.
I'm excited to see the new M2 though. (Is there an ETA on the M2 reveal?) I'm cross shopping the new M2, CT4 V Blackwing and Cayman 4.0 GTS (manual) when the lease is up on my M2 next year.

These designs where the bottom half of the car is black makes it look like a Pep-Boys Dakar Rally Special!
Couple that with a giant vinyl hockey stick on the side and it is clear that the design language is not speaking clearly.

Nope, you must have been fooled by the lighting.

I think it looks great! I sat in one at Goodwood Festival of Speed and its definitely a more mature car than my F22 M235i. Rear lights could have been better, but overall its a lovely car. Interesting the pictures at beginning of this thread don't appear to be lowered, whereas other pictures of the car with all the MP parts show the car lowered, presumably on MP Springs and looks better for it!

I've owned a manual CTS-V wagon and like the V cars. (I regret selling that car to this day) The Cayman looks interesting but is actually on the bottom of the list due to the long gearing and only two seats. I'm hoping the M2 looks good and has great power but we'll have to wait and see. I've also owned Corvettes and Camaros and might look at a six speed ZL1 too if they throw in the breathing improvements to the LT4 SC motor that they made to the CT5 Blackwing.
