No words or pictures on added bracing vs the M240i, I guess we need to wait for the launch for such details. Achilles mentioned a subjectively inferior front end to the G8X. I’m curious if less stout bracing is part of the reasons. I’m not liking this aspect of the G87 if true.

Later in the same video Joe said that he checked and the front tires on the car he had been driving were very worn so I wouldn't read much into a supposedly inferior front end yet.

This will be coming out in the middle of a global recession. Just like when the E9X M cars came out. I must say, I prefer this over the G8X cars.

LOL Related if I remember & understood correctly. I think he & Joe both felt tire condition was probably responsible for any front end issues they'd mentioned.

Thanks, for me this is still a concern. MP4S and MPSS hold up quite well in feel and performance as they wear.

According to BMW engineers and executives, there are no plans to offer the G87 BMW M2 with an all-wheel drive configuration. That applies to both the launch model in 2023 and subsequent models until the end of M2’s lifecycle.

Since the whole front end (including the drivetrain) is from the M4, only the skin is different, the difference would be due to the condition of the tyres

My guess is the front tyres overheated (pretty easy for a heavyish car on a fast track even with track tyres and he is on street tyres). Joe is not the only guy driving the car

So to the regulars in this section, what do we think of the front bumper shots vs the IG clip we saw a couple a weeks ago? The video clearly showed a more aggressive and protruding lower bumper. So which is the real deal?

The hard camouflage is completely gone

What we're seeing is what we'll get

There has ben mention here and there of the M2 with 6MT ( base ) having "cheap seats".

Does this mean the base seats are 'Sensatec' and not animal leather?
