Ha...wife just said I should go for fire orange (I showed it to her on the visualizer). I don't know if she is serious or if she is messing with me. Now I am confused.

Found this thread over in the G80 forum. It is a good way to see what the colors look like...

I would absolutely spec individual. Likely Maritime Blue or Oxford Green…

P28 Twilight Purple, all day every day
P7K Rosso Corsa The G87, I hope will be the first car I will have actually ordered! I have lost count how many I have owned, and only bought one NEW straight off the lot ever. Really really REALLY hope to get twilight purple.. I have fallen in love with that color on a friends G80.

Yes they added dravit grey, tanzanite blue and aventurin red for the MY23 builds in Mexico. They are semi individual colors. All the other individual colors are still done at the Munich plant. No one has been able to confirm when the full individual program will be available in Mexico.

Would be absurd for a 330 to get more options than an M car. |

Cannot say that I am surprised. Very disappointed as well. It will eventually come. It is anyone’s guess as to when though. Last edited by T_U_D; 09-08-2022 at 12:13 AM.. |

Not to be dramatic, but I think it's total BS that we can't spec individual because they decided to build this car in Mexico. By many measures the M2 is more of an enthusiast car than the M3, given how large it has become. I can almost guarantee this will be a future classic, and to be deprived of individual colors is a travesty

I might buy mine right away and Autoflex it, like I did with my F87.
Turned my Saphire Black Metallic into San Marino Blue! Sprayed on, more protective than PPF, about 1/2 the cost of a good wrap, and looks just like paint. It even fools the dealership folks, who thought I somehow got individual paint. I wash it, wax it, even ceramic coated it. And if I don't like it down the road, I can just peel it off. Might do Aventurine Red or Fern Green. Last edited by M2PDX; 09-08-2022 at 10:02 AM.. |
