I'll also add there is 3% sales tax on cars in NC so that adds more with the car price higher. Also I did finance part of my OG M2 at 1.5% interest which would be more like 6% now. |

8ZF is standard, 6MT is no-cost option in the USA.
Britain gets to pay £500 for 6MT. At least they're offering it there - they can't get it in the M3/M4.

Awesome. I thought manual was base config and auto was an optional charge. Yeah, Joe Achilles mentioned the UK charge for the manual, but at least it's available this time.

I'm not so sure carbon buckets aren't really an option in the US since the BMWUSA site specifically touts them as a premium feature. Will be interested to hear what my dealer has to say when I go in to make good on an allocation!

That's what I said, if it's in bmw USA.com then it must be offered

M-DCT was a 3 grand option as I recall. I guess some people chose the manual because it was free.

As noted above, the current ordering system does not show buckets as an option. We'll have to wait for them to update

G87 is being shown publicly for first time in US tomorrow at 50th M anniversary event in SC. Lets see what seats car(s) have. I would find it hard to believe they show M2 with carbon buckets in US and then not offer them here.

There is a flaw in your theory as BMW NA has displayed European models within the U.S. often. If that is the actual case tomorrow I would not be surprised.

They wouldn’t loose money not selling carbon seats. I’m 100% certain they will be available for launch.
$650 for the paint is pointless especially when its base in the UK. |
