It’s a lot less expensive to swap the exhaust tips than changing the headlights, so that could be an option as well. I think they are only about $50 each for the M3, so I would assume it will be similar.

Can probably find someone who would trade chrome for black tips or vice versa..

What i can't decide on is exterior paint color! Why oh why don't they have an actual metallic gray or silver. BG is too flat and with too much blue undertone.

Black is most aggressive but I have sworn off black cars. I guess that leaves me with white and the stormtrooper look.

Red and ZB are just too flashy for me

That has crossed my mind. The problem with that logic is that it is a total unknown. We do not know yet if the tips will be able to be R&I’ed. We are purely guessing via the pre-production models that they will be held on by screw at the top and bottom of each tip.

I'm going BG. But AW would be my second choice. Like you, wish there was a silver option.

But I really like the stormtrooper look on my M240.

What’s funny is that I had a Mineral Grey F87 and didn’t like the chrome tips at all, so was looking for black tips before selling the car. Now have the chance to get black and thinking I prefer chrome, but then it’s not the same car…

I think I prefer the chrome tips as they are highly visible opposed to the black tips. Edit, they work well with the bi-color wheels too.

I do not care for the gold stripes either, but there is no certainty that we will be able to swap the exhaust tips. As I mentioned above, the only G87s that we have seen have been preproduction units. Things could be different once production begins.

It looks like the gold stripes come with the lightning package. I am already on the fence for the lightning package and the gold stripe might push me to delete it from my build...

The upgraded LED headlights, the vastly more attractive DRL, and the auto high beams are a must! To lose the gold stripe with the lighting package one must add shadowline.

The G42 non-Shadowline headlights. Apparently the inside of the G87’s will be the same.

Sticking with the base headlight myself. The only way in Canada to have the more attractive DRL is to include the ZPP for #3,100 CAD. ZPP has nothing else of value for me whatsoever.

Unless there are 4 tiers of headlight:
1. Base as seen on the white M2 in the vicinity of the Mexico plant (probably the STD ones in Canada);
2. Non adaptive w/ more attractive DRL (if existing, could be the STD in Canada);
3. Adaptive w/ more attractive DRL (part of ZPP $3,100 CAD); and
4. Shadowline adaptive (3MF requiring ZPP $500 CAD)

Seems unlikely. There are probably 3 top options. I am learning to like the base headlight and that is OK.
