In the UK you either speak to your dealer/BMW support or use the chat feature at bmw.co.uk quoting your production number.

I checked in with BMW Genius and I'm still on schedule for an early June arrival (I guess still subject to the UK launch date that is still TBC). One thing that I did learn is that the car is now the subject of a 'technical campaign' relating to the 'control unit'.


I wonder if this is the digital key recall that others are referring to in the forum?

If it's of interest, I managed to obtain my VIN this morning and the config is now showing on the various VIN-lookup sites AND I've been able to add it to the MyBMW app.

My order placed October 2022, is due for August 2023 delivery. I was initially advised May 2023, when I placed it. One of the reasons why I ended up cancelling (but not the main).

Asked for it yesterday! Hopefully get it tomorrow. You can also put it in the Drivers Guide app to get a pdf driver’s manual (the full app isn’t working yet). I got it using the vin from the ZB one at Farnborough

Put a deposit down in June '22. Order placed on the first October date and first in line with the dealer (in Sussex). Had a build slot confirmed which meant that delivery was to be late June/early July. This has now potentially slipped to October apparently due to opting for the carbon seats.
Has anyone else had a notification that their slot has been bumped due to the seat shortage? Seriously considering cancelling and rolling the deposit to when they inevitably launch a CS version.

My order also included the track elements inc carbon seats but was not subject to a delay. Whether that was just luck, I guess we'll never know. It feels like you would have been first on your dealers list so I'm curious as to how they manage the build slots across the dealer network given I was also first and my car is currently en route from Mexico.
