Brooklyn Grey G87 M2 pics from dealership

The best photos of the G87 are those that don’t show the front or rear of the car.

F87 Comp owner here - I had the #3 allocation at my dealer until I saw the G87 in person at the BMWCCA headquarters a few months ago.

Admittedly, the G87 interior is a big step up in quality from the F87.

Brooklyn Gray doesn't look like Chalk or Nardo at all in real life IMO. It has much more of a cooler tone and more blue whereas Nardo is very beige/ tan and chalk is very cream/ light beige in the sun. Brooklyn tends to go closer to white in direct sun. All of these colors look more gray in low light or overcast conditions. Brooklyn gray is like a slightly darker hockenheim silver with a bit more blue.

IRL, BG is significantly darker than the OP’s photos. Looks like Chalk in photos when reality is darker. Lighting is everything with BG photos.

Yes, I let my place in line go.

I ordered a F87 M2 from my dealer, then ordered the M2 Comp after it launched. As soon as I heard about the G87, I asked my sales advisor to put me on his list. When he reached out to me to suggest I start looking at my spec, I advised him that I wouldn’t be moving forward.

So, at least someone benefited and moved up a spot in line - it was a positive for someone!

I gotcha! I ordered an RS3 in May last year with no update still, and am First in line for the G87 just waiting for an allocation but with the interest rates, seeing in person etc, I may just hold out with with my F82.

I don't understand primer gray at all. That's not a color.

It is like someone said, "you know guys, white, silver and black are too colourful, too flashy, we need something that doesn't stand out as much".

I can't believe how much hate the front receives. I love it. The set back headlights are like a pit viper face.

It’s interesting he mentions 0-60 in 3.6 secs for the manual. I know bmw understates hp but the m3 manual with similar weight isn’t near that.

Honestly I know most people don’t like it, but I think it’s unique. Would I swap my M8 for this? No way, but for what it is.. I like it.

I'm sure the tech-specs are impressive,...but the outter skin is in need of a dire make-over!,...and those 'horizontal grills'! What's that about? BMW has mixed Right Angles with Smooth Lines,...and it didn't turnout too well. I'm hoping the aftermarket takes on a desire to FIX this!

And the Single headlight on each front corner doesn't help! ijs

Yes! However, the E30 M3 had it all for its time in the spotlight! Plus,...it's still a desired model to have. This new M2 will no doubt perform at a very high level,...that's a given. But! She won't be near the prettiest girl on stage,...with all of those styling missed-cues!

And this is what most people see about it first,...a girl needs to be easy on the eyes,...as well as being good everywhere else. Now tell me this isn't a fact,...when given a Choice!!!

Incidentally, the color combo is legit.
I like the red calipers with BG and the gold wheels a lot.

Every single M3 has power dome hoods, bulging fenders, and/or big ass wheels and loud engines. Why are you acting like this is a new recipe?
