Even a standard blue color like Portimao blue (which is offered on the G42 at the SLP plant…) would’ve been nice

Yeah, I guess, but that still wouldn't have had any effect on my choice (I still would have chosen BG) nor does it have a "wow factor" for an M car.

My 2018 S5 is Navarra Blue Metallic...while it looks great when detailed, I am kind of over blues like that.

Great video thank you.

The more I see this car in Toronto Red, the more i love it. I thought BSM would be my choice but not anymore.

Also, I love my vinyl records. On a good sound system they are better than compressed digital audio to my ears. To each their own!

Yeah. ZB is trash. I would have loved Thundernight Metallic on the M2. Makes no sense why it’s not an option since they’re doing it on the M240i.

I put my name on the list but don’t want a production slot until at least August when the 2024 model production starts… I know it’s a super slim chance but hoping for some new colors at that point. None of the current colors wow me coming from my current car in Dravit Grey, which I think would look sick on that car.

I haven't yet due to my work schedule but hopefully will in the morning.

However, in the meantime, if you (or others) don't mind, could you please describe how they address the concern he noted?

Thanks!

Tesla and others started this trend with their tablet stuck to the dash. At least the configuration and location of BMW's is better than that!

I hope it comes true, though it has been repeatedly stated that additional colors would come later in 2024, not specifically for MY24. Later in 2024 could very well end up being MY25.

Edit, Just thinking outside the box.

With access to a factory engineer, I expected a lot more from that "deep dive."

I'm sure the performance envelope will be phenomenal. Shame it's so ugly.

It wasn't love at first sight but it's growing on me. It seems to be true to its design intent as form and function.

The main display changes when in sport or track mode. It puts all the good stuff front and center. Its covered around the 7:50 mark

I love seeing that boost guage. Thanks for posting.

Edit: I wish they'd include an option for everything, voltmeter, oil pressure/temp, fuel pressure, the whole nine. Some of just love seeing the health telemetry.

I'm in a bind picking between BSM and TR.

No glare when in the seat. It just looks ugly because it is ugly but it is attractive to the "iPhone generation" who can afford these cars so there's that. It'll still be fun to drive and it's the true heir to M3's of the past rather than the luxo-barge of the G8x.

Note: I have family who just took delivery of a new 2-series.

Order without HUD, it’s more traditional looking. I have this in an i4 and it’s way better looking than the widescreen iPad look for sure. Unless you need HUD then that’s the only option.
