I was that way too. I bought both on the same day and RDR just consumed me. I thought AW was pretty good honestly, but nothing spectacular. The mood and spook factor is what does it for that game, not the actual game play.

RDR is just so sweet.

I'm kind of in the middle, I'm not too hardcore but not casual. I've been really sick recently so I just finished Dragon Age Awakening and need a new game. So I'm probably just going to rent this game, I'm not too keen on the MP that much

I was the same way, but I havent played RDR too much yet. Waiting for my brother to beat it. I beat Alan Wake a few days ago and all I can say is, meh. Kinda dissappointing IMO after all the hype. The game looks gorgeous, is creepy, but just like what ncarter said, the actual gameplay isnt all that special.

I finished RDR last week and it's a great game. One of the best games I've played. The story, gun play, everything is great.
