I think the point the OP was trying to make about limited production was that for a Super-Ferrari it was not a limited production run, but yeah I see what you are saying .

Someone else here said they probably could count the number of guys who track their F40's on one hand, go on F-chat alone and you would need more then fingers to keep track. Compared to it's predecessor and successors it wasn't a limited run.

Just to put it into perspective Ferrari only built 2,323 Berlinetta Boxers from 1973 to 1984, that's less than 4 per week.

I dunno, I kinda like it. Not something I would do permanently, but to run for a few months, maybe for a big car show or event, I would love to do it on my car. But not something to stay on for good, just do it for fun.

He tracks the car and owns a ton of other cars (890hp Enzo, novitech f430, twiner gallardo) but to each their own on the wrap. He took it on a 2500km drive this summer (where the pics a from) and the vinyl helped the paint IMO. Tons of chips and horrible wet and sloppy conditions during parts of the trip. Car definitely stands out for an f40 though (as if it didn't enough already) but yeah that's a bit of the story behind it. Next year big turbos and no wrap from the sounds of it.
