If I spend 10 minutes/month writing a check thats 54.50 lost, Which is great enough to offset the savings in leasing vs cash. Do you all concur?

Maybe you could post your feedback, as far as your income/which BMW ratio is and why.................
There is a simple formula from www.bmwsmoneyandjocksize.de

I x m(i) x BSc = 1

Where I is your yearly income, m(i) is the BMW model number*, and BSc is your coeficient of bulls**t. So for your case:

600k x 335 x BSc = 1

or

BSc = 1/(600k x 335)

So in this case you need bullsh**t coeficient of 0.00000000498 which is pretty low. You might want to have your "secretary" do the calculations for 800k salary and for M5 and M6 (this will help your BS coefficient quite a bit).

Cheers and good luck,

* For M cars you must multiply by 1000

I thought that we were supposed to be a PC bunch here at e90post? I have read a large number of offensive remarks towards millionaire / billionaire types throughout the last four pages of this thread. It should suffice to say, I am insulted!

Also keep in mind i live in Texas where the cost of living is well below the east and west coasts. If you have a 335 please post your yearly income so I can get a gage if i am crazy for spending $50K for a car when making approx. $150K (next year and $160K in 2 years)

P.S. I cant wait to get rid of my 0 to 60 in 9 hours Volvo S60!!!! :rocks:

If you live in California, $1 mil salary is not enough to buy a 335. You probably have a $10,000 house payment. Get a Hyundai.

I dunno, I'd like to think that this is the case, that it's simply the bucket-heads that have been reading too much Maxim magazine and NOT as Humor. But as I look around at acquaintances and friends I have had there is a distressing number that truly do identify themselves via the dollar amounts of their toys, home, freaking golf Clubs...

It's consumerism and the lack of any real United States culture I think. It's a desire to be "THAT GUY" without the realization that "THAT GUY" with the Porsche GT, and 23Mil home, ISN'T "THAT GUY".

The friends and family I have that I consider truly set up, heavily invested, and what I would call wealthy, never talk about their income, they may talk about a particular fund doing good or bad, or interest rates or whatever but their own personal income is never a topic, nor should it be topic, it's tasteless. So MONEY isn't taboo, it's personal wealth and personal finances that are taboo.

It's like buying a new watch, doesn't matter what kind, but a nice watch, a Movado. Not too "Bling" cause you're not retarded, but it's pretty. We all know that guy, who's first question will be "How Much?" WTF? New Car? How Much? etc... Where I work, I am surrounded by retail employees, they live in a "How Much" world. They want to know how much something cost so they can assign a "cool factor" to it. They have little understanding of Quality, performance, design, or art. No, they can only comprehend WORTH or VALUE through $$$$ signs. So HOW MUCH? Is the question ringing through the shops.

It's the same with the "These new King Cobra's cost $3400" my New Merc cost me $77k, on and freaking on... No Idea of the VALUE of a Thing, only the COST of a thing.

Get both groups together and they can worship and Brag and feel special all day.

I find it really sad that you need to waste our time with sharing how much money you make and then add 400 smilies. You sadden me and bring a dark shadow upon wealthier people in the United States. That is what people hate about rich individuals...
I am sorry for you
