This, or the sex is totally boring since you do not want the kids to hear it, and if you do not care if your kids hear you have something wrong with you. Been together with my wife for 30 yrs married 23, and we use to go at all the time too and as the kids aged the time and energy you have for anything extra declines. Can not wait until they are out of the house. |

A girl can be a girly girl and at the same time independent and strong minded. Can't just assume they are butch.

Relationships can be pretty bitchin sometimes.
Ive been in one for the better part of 3 years and she gets me kickass stuff like for my birthday in april she got me a pair of FIA approved Sparco gloves. (I looked it up and she spent $200 on me WTF! ) So it eventually evens out. But thats also because I make her pay for shit when I feel like ive been taking all the cash hits lately. We have a mutual understanding about money, which helps 2 engineer's income is great for cashflow. She buys the stuff that she wants with her cash and I buy the stuff that I want and we treat the other to nights out in the middle of it + sex nearly every night = good way to be. |

What do you prefer. A good guy that is into you, but you not as much or you into a bad guy that is really not into you as much as you are.

On a side note, it may be normal to not know what you want in a relationship, but that should also mean do not try to get into a serious relationship. |

I usually don't know what I want/get bored of them, but there is always one where you know what you want, I guess that one would be the keeper!

If Gene Simmons and for that matter Shannon Tweed did not have pre nups or binding contracts in place they are both fools and I highly doubt he got in the financial position he is in by being foolish. It's all about TV ratings and not true life. Common law marriage is defined differently state by state and not recognized in all states. It Cali it requires more than co-habitation to legalize it, they combination of submitting yourselves as common law couples is often one of the key issues but keeping personal articles at someones house hardly satisfies the courts. Yes you can have your cake and eat it too. It can be in the form of marriage or by just living together but does require a fair bit of maturity and understanding. I was married for 21 years, two kids. Was diagnosed with a long term illness, wife met someone else and left. She got half of the assets except those I/we negotiated otherwise completely legal and binding in California(she tried to reverse some it years later when she pissed away her money and I did not die). I have been with my GF/Wifey (could be considered common law) for just over 7 years. We own a home together and other properties seperately. We split everything right down the middle on the home we own (I pay all bills on even months her on odd months it's in a contract). We have absolutely 0 issues we have the same general interests and when they do not mesh we support each other in their interests. Absolutely perfect situation but I am 53. We wont get married unless something like health issues force it because it works for us. No reason to change a thing. |

It is baggage but I tend to look at the whole picture not just one aspect. Plusses better outweigh negatives. Child isn't a definite no but it's definitely a consideration that you have to weigh heavily upon. I feel you shouldn't date someone with a child unless you are willing to put the child into your life as well. Most people aren't ready for that.

Lonely when single, or miserable when you're married.
If you're anything like me, being single is great for awhile - then you start realizing it's too much work to line something up every week. The easier it is the less satisfying it is. I find I like a challenge. Then, when you're in a relationship, it's "what it could have been" with someone else, or you're bored, or you're not happy. I fuck non-stop in my current relationship, slammin' body, same faith, still not doin' it for me quite yet. She loves pretty much everything I love. Problem is she gets insanely jealous, doesn't seem to have many friends, and is pretty insecure. Warning signs? What's too much to put up with? Gunna play this one out and see where it goes. Pick your poison I guess?

I got out of a relationship 9 months ago. We were together for 3 years. Before her, I was in a relationship for 3 years. So I was in 2 serious relationships over the course of 6 years. I love being single and I think it will be a while before I have another relationship as serious as those. And I have zero desire to get married or have kids anytime soon. Eventually. Like when I am 35 or 40. I want to enjoy being young. I don't care if I am an "older" dad.
