Production was completed on October 15th and I have not seen an update in the status since then. The car is ultimately traveling to Nevada. Any insight as to timing expectations on the shipment, which ports it’ll be traveling from, etc.?

Placed my order on October 12th. I haven’t heard a peep from my SA. When can I expect a production #, let alone some sort of update? Maybe I’m impatient….

You should’ve been given an order number if your dealer has an allocation. Then you make some login account on the bmw app. Wiithin 24 hours my order was confirmed and I could track it with the order/production number given.

Unfortunately no name of the transport ship. I was informed that it had arrived at a port, but have not gotten any further information.

SA or BMWGenius can tell you the vessel name, the latter will probably yield quicker results.

If I’m reading these routes correctly, does this mean there isn’t another boat coming for this route until Nov 16? ( and what’s worse is these routes are not direct to Port Hueneme, CA like the October 27th boat was.) The Oct27 boat was only 14 days or less. these routes are 60 days…. That would be the case with Wallenius but I believe BMW uses other transport services as well.

CA delivery? If so, I think your port of exit from Mexico will not be Altamira as that is on the East Coast.

All M2s are now built in the Mexico factory too, right? I found out that mine will arrive at Port Hueneme, CA, but I do not know what port it is departing from. Left the plant to the port on Oct 18th.

Now it has updated in the app to in transit.
I have the luxury of being able to check the actual BMW system whenever I want so I haven’t been relying on the app.
I’ve definitely noticed a delay in the status updates showing in app versus in the system throughout this process, I’ve tracked hundreds of orders over the years for my clients, but this is the first one I’ve ordered for myself and tracked through the app too.

Ah that's nice lol I don't want to keep bothering the genius desk and my CA doesn't seem as excited about the order as I am so I just keep refreshing my app several times a day.

I am using you as a gauge since your individual seems about 2 weeks ahead of mine

Taking delivery tomorrow. How can I confirm the shipping blocks have been removed? Are they just on the rear struts? Visible without a lift and tools?

I know about the higher ride height and rough ride but I may or may not notice that in my 10 minutes with the car before driving off into the sunset.
