Looks like the bumper is also proper BMW instead of the stupid triangles on the regular 2-series. I hope the M division tweaks also fix the odd rear end. I still feel the tail lights need be flipped over like in the 4-series, but obviously that won't be done. However an aggressive rear end treatment with those quad pipes will go a long way.

I'm hoping we will be offered a X Drive M2 Comp , but all the news seems to indicate it will be RWD only.

hmmm, have to admit the new spy shots show a promising design - aggressive and squat looking pitbull of a M car...fingers crossed, BMW delivers on this one.
I recently read a 1510kg weight estimate, any word if that's accurate at all? |

Wow. It's crazy that BMW managed to have a record sales year as the top selling luxury brand in the world after losing sales to you and your inner circle of friends.

3322 lbs? No chance. But would be nice if it did.

I'm not sure why we're going back and forth when we both agree that the G87 appears to have the exact same front blinker and DRLs as the G42 M240??

f87 m2 comp 3561 lbs for the manual and 3600lbs ish for DCT.. and based on the size comparisons of the m240i vs the M2C i would say if they are able to hold to 3700 lbs would be realistic IMO

No thank you. Now that the M3 is 5 series size and weight and the M2 is the new M3, let's keep the size, weight, and RWD in check.
