I whipped up some tofu planks with lime/peanut glaze. Served over rice with a side of green beans and some peanut/honey drizzle. Not to brag, but it was damn tasty. Have to work this one into our rotation.

A while ago, I mentioned how much of a pita it was to make cabbage rolls and that I was going to experiment doing it as a two layer lasagna style.
Although it didn't turn out pretty, it sure was good. I've learned a few ideas for next time. I might even try a traditional three layer lasagna using cabbage instead of pasta. Stay tuned for that one. |

Steak and salad
Pan seared NY strip in EVOO and butter, cooked with onions, shallots, garlic, bay leaf and fresh thyme. Usual salad with arugula, Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, tomatoes, onions, EVOO, balsamic glaze and S&P. Grapes and bluets for dessert. Really good. Presentation didin't meet my standards so no pics! |
