Mine just got updated this morning! Really stocked to see progress after being stuck in limbo. I ordered mine on 1/27 and went into production last week. It's wishful thinking, but hoping it can catch a ship to NJ sooner than later. Sounds like I just missed a boat at the Mexico plant..

Thundernight/Cognac color combo with all the packages and extras. It's going to be awesome.

Just curious. Where did you order from? I'm in CT also and my date keeps getting pushed out. Sitting at week 23 now.

On 2/14 I located an existing dealer allocation at 112 status. Not sure when exactly the production number was created, but I had time to modify the build to my preference. Supposedly the allocation was a previous customer’s order who decided he couldn’t wait.

Fwiw it was originally a Week 9 build that got pushed a couple of times - I guess this is considered a Week 12 Build iirc.

My Garage Timeline so far:

2/14 - Production # / Order Received;
2/28 - Scheduled for Production;
3/22 - Production Begins, VIN assigned
4/12 - Entering Assembly Line;
4/13 - Quality Check
4/19 - Final Assembly
4/20 - Ready for Transport

I ordered on December 7th. BMW of North Haven. I don't remember the dates anymore-but production began middle to end of January. I almost ordered from Hartford-but had done business with North Haven before and they gave me a small discount to make me feel better.

Hope the techs weren't too high while finishing her up...ha ha. Now to wait for transport.

Anyone know how long it will take to get to Texas from Mexico? I assume the port will be Galveston.

Call BMW genius and they will give you the ship name. Then track on http://marinetraffic.com, don’t pay just use the free tracker.

I’ve read a lot about shipments to the US.
My car should be on a boat towards Belgium/Germany. Is it indeed so that cars for Belgium are going through Bremerhaven? And than afterwords with a truck to Belgium? Any idea why that is? And is there a long transit between arriving at Bremerhaven and leaving to Belgium? Thanks a lot!

BALPOA is Baltimore, and it looks like the next ship due into Mexico might be the Silver Ray. You might be able to assume your car will arrive sometime late May based on Sallaum Line's ship schedules

The Glovis Stella is still at port in Veracruz. It had been anchored outside the port for awhile, but is now at the actual dock. Always a chance that will be going up the east coast as well, and you could be on that.
