Yes, I hear the similarities. Coincidentally, they were both in The Traveling Wilburys (as I'm sure you know), along with the other legendary members of that great, but short lived group.

I have a wide taste in music too,I can jump from rock to classic to soul then middle of the road w.h.y let's play some music.
