Reading the article, I guess I've been making Cottage Pie since I always used beef and not lamb. And I only use corn.

Wife baked the 'but my brother caught last weekend, along with some wild rice mix and nopales. I left all the doors open when I came into the house from picking the nopales. Topped with yellow limes I picked while I was out there.

Last of my chicken brats on my BabyQ. Somewhat bland but the addition of chopped red onions and pickled red cabbage came to the rescue.

It’s back!

Tabbouleh, one of my all time favorite items. With Iraqi flatbread and fresh apricots.

1 bunch flat parsley, stems removed
1 bunch fresh mint, stems removed
1 tomato, diced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/4c dry bulgur, cooked
1 lemon, juiced
EVOO
salt
Black pepper
Sumac
Kalamata olives and Pepperoncini, optional and not traditional (I like them!)

Also can add crushed roasted almonds, diced cucumbers or chickpeas.

Makes 1 large entree portion or 2 good-sized side salads.

Chop it all up, mix it up and serve!
