I thought the same thing about the reverse lights, but it went from bad to I can't back-up in the complete dark, though I did opt for the dark tint, lasted a week before I removed it. Couldn't back into my own driveway any longer.

I added some knee pads
The plastic trim is a pain to deal with but went together easier then expected |

Picked up my bim on Thursday. I had purchased a bunch of stuff while waiting for the build (Aug 9 received production number) and have been slowly installing stuff since picking up the car (its in thundernight metallic, black perf sensa, RWD with staggered 797 wheels non rft).
Friday I installed the tlg mud flaps, radar detector and mirrortap (tapped into the larger black plug. the smaller brown one didnt shut off after 15 mins), crystal stop start engine button, the center console storage organizer and little change cubby thing in the middle. today i swapped out all the badges for the 50th anniv ones and changed my license plate frames to simple black silicon, replacing the dealership advertising plates. tomorrow i will be washing, deconning and ceramic coating the car myself. not sure if it will need claying and polishing... im hoping not but we will see after the wash. also will be ceramic coating the quad exhaust tips (i ordered the cf with blue steel underneath... it matches my caliper colors and i liked the pseudo 'blued' effect) and installing them if they dry and cure in time. next week i should start looking for a place to tint my windows and then i think i may be done with any updates for the time being. not looking to do any performance stuff until i have the whip for a year at least. oh, and i should be switching out my summer tyres for winters in a couple weeks. ive been holding on to the flow one f7 wheels and michelin x-ice's for a bit now. im in ny metro area. its been exciting and relatively easy... havent snapped or broken anything... yet. |

Interesting, is there a pad for the left door handle? My knee rests right up against it and I am wondering if there is something available, otherwise I might have to make something.

Put on the TRE CF steering wheel trim. I wasn’t expecting that this was a stick on (my ignorance), but actually went on really nice. Will definitely replace later on with the actual insert though.

Already changed out my wheels/tires. Found a set of black 791M rims in 18x8 and 18x9 and mounted some 245/40 and 275/35 Michelin PS4S tires. It's different it seems than the direction most folks take, but I love the look of the 18" rims with meatier tires. Was exactly the look I was hoping for. The ride is wayyyy smoother than then OEM 225/40R19 square runflat setup it came with.

Thinking about something like this and putting a small piece of memory foam or similar behind it for cushioning.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B8N76FT2...lig_dp_it&th=1 I will have to measure the diameter of the steering wheel and see if the door handle is about the same size. |

When you put your car into reverse gear, either one or two white lights are activated at the rear of the car. This is a clear signal to other road users that you have engaged reverse and you are in the process of carrying out a manoeuvre. If there are vehicles or pedestrians around, wait for them to pass before moving |

we have rear fogs as sometimes its so foggy you need them so another car does not shunt you from behind.

It’s leather. Exactly the same as what’s on the seats.

Used headrest from eBay in Oyster. $30 shipped. Stripped it apart, cleaned the leather, cut into four pieces. Popped off the ISOFIX things and used double-sided tape to stick/wrap the leather.

Very very nice, it's better than before
Do you see or feel any difference of highness? Does it seems to be added more than OEM? If you have other pictures, it would be awesome! Btw, the result is quite cool

Just added in the engine brace bars after painting an obnoxious gold color😅not sure if it’ll make a difference in my 230ix, but was a satisfying project!
Other mods have been the 50th anniversary badges, CF wrap on center console and steering wheel, red leather centerline on steering wheel, +5 hp start button, CF ducktail spoiler, front splitter, and gold wrap on cross bars inside the grill. |
