Hey Murf993 if you're listening, check out this track with your setup. You may not be a fan of the style but Synkro (aka Joe McBride from the UK) is one of my all time favorite artists/producers. He does a lot of mixing and collaborative work with a number of artists too. If I were to put together my greatest hits list for stuff that would sound brilliant on a nice system/headphones/IEMs, his name would dominate my list.

This track is one I recently discovered. He took a DnB (drum and bass) track and slowed it down and just made it sound majestic. I'm probably the only one that feels this but.....

Could be the wine talking.

Wow I discovered this little gem from a duo called "Keep Shelly in Athens", a chillwave music artist out of Greece. Pretty nice cover of a classic rock tune if you ask me. They put their own style behind it and as far as I'm concerned, it works. Apparently this was used in the soundtrack of "Unhinged" which I haven't seen.

Not sure how many here are familiar with London Grammar. This is a cool studio performance from way back in 2013 at KEXP in Seattle. They were kind of new around that time. Hannah Reid has a breathtaking voice.

For those unfamiliar with KEXP, a non-profit radio station in Seattle that has some of the most incredible live performances around. I posted one session of London Grammar last night which is a good performance. This band Haelos also out of the UK is one I wasn't familiar with but saw this live performance in studio and it's phenomenal IMHO. If you play this back on your audio system and TV it's pretty amazing really.

Sounds engineers at KEXP deserve serious credit for making musicians sound incredible. This is an example of the live version sounding better than the recorded version of the song.

KEXP-FM is a public radio station in Seattle, Washington, specializing in alternative and indie rock programmed by its disc jockeys. Its broadcasting license is owned by Friends of KEXP, an independent 501 organization.
