Thanks Mark. I was surprised how well they showed up as well when I opened it up in Lightroom after I got home. I'm going to print this one for my friend.

I loved living at those latitudes in the summer. No so much in the winter time

I love living in the north as I very much enjoy watching, and photographing the changing seasons. The light up here can be very special, still daylight at midnight in late June / early July, but dark by 4pm at this time of year.

Thanks Mark! That was actually just a quickie I took on a pit stop along HWY 50 on the way to Lake Tahoe. The Fuji really does a great job with landscape color I think.

Hard to tell in the photo but she is actually a McNab, a herding dog that originated in the Mendocino region of Northern California. Here is a better shot of Bell. She is 9 and still going strong.
