haha I was mostly joking, honestly its super surprising that it only takes that long to load that many vehicles onto the ship and secure them and everything. It takes me 12 hours to package car parts up to sell and mail...anyone want some rays 57 CRs in eternal blue hahaha or a Supra steering wheel

A while ago, mtoo had posted this schedule for Glovis Sunrise. Obviously the dates aren't accurate anymore but these may be the ports it's visiting. Baltimore's on there, which is my destination. Based on our evidence, Brunswick and NYC must be stops too.

Video of loading cars on a ship if you haven’t already googled it. Crazy fast and parked super close.

For reference, the Glovis Cardinal spent 2 days and 6 hours in Altamira loading up cars. When it dropped cars off, it was around 12 hours scheduled per stop.

I noticed that the Glovis Sunrise is on the Altamira schedule. It is slotted to spend 30 hours and pick up 2500 autos.
(I wouldn't rely on the accuracy of 30 hours, because the Glovis Cardinal was scheduled for 28 hours, and it actually spent 2 days and 6 hours). Overall, the Glovis Sunrise can carry up to 7300 vehicles, so that's 4800 in Veracruz and 2500 in Altamira. I really hope this is the one |

My CA reached out to me an hour ago (very kind of him, especially on his day off).

On the one hand, leaving on the 20th, there's no way we would see the car this month. However, if the status will be updated in the next few days, then it seems possible it would be leaving Mexico soon and arriving on the 20th (but that's definitely not what they said)?? Who knows, I will report back when I hear more. Figured I'd share in the meantime. |

Hi everyone, week 43 build here. Chat with my CA yesterday about my car , as well as called Genius. Car was marked as RFT 10/31. Brunswick delivery. No updates from Genius and CA shared they had no updates beyond what I could see. Said something about December delivery after being quoted up to 10 week wait but was told to anticipate January. Sounds like they know something we don’t and there are huge backups at these ports for us East Coast people. I know based off of reading I can expect a mid-late December delivery if I’m lucky, but living vicariously through your status updates and am hopeful my car gets on that speculated Altamira overflow lot 😆
