Thank you, but it's not my birthday today. I'm not that old
The Birthday boy should be here sometime today. I'm just reminding him that it's his 70th birthday today

Happy Birthday! I'll get off your lawn now.

My body's rapidly approaching 70 (a year and a half from now), but my mind is stuck in my mid-late teens! If only my body could carry out my mind's desires! I can't even do a simple tire rotation anymore!

Feel like my mind is always in the mid 20s, but with the wisdom and common sense of an older man. Feels pretty good.

Yesterday I was trying to get the end of a screw driver into a very small screw head. I had to use two hands to steady the screw driver tip. It's things like that that remind me I'm not in my 30's any more.

I often wish I had the wisdom and common sense I have now when I was in my teens, twenties, and thirties. It's a shame it takes decades to gain the wisdom you really need in your younger years.

Be thankful that you can even see recessed terminal screws to tell if they are flat-blade, phillips, or torx.....

I remember when Mosaic hit the streets. Wrote my 1st website shortly
thereafter. 1994, if I recall correctly.

Quote:
paint the brake calipers on my 2004 Mazda RX-8. To make room, I backed our 2012 GLK 350 onto our slightly downhill driveway. I blocked the wheels and then removed one wheel at a time, followed by cleaning and painting (red) of the brake calipers. After I was finished and had lowered the car, I grabbed a beer out of the nearby ‘frig and then plopped into my comfortable chair, just to lean back and admire my work. Just as I turned my head, my RX-8 was rolling very slowly out of the garage. I leaped out of my chair and made a valiant effort to grab the front wheel well. I missed it by inches, then watched in horror as my RX-8 rolled into the right front corner of our year old GLK. Dumb $hit forgot to set the parking brake and also failed to notice the slight incline of the first 3 feet of the garage floor. That is the last time I did any heavy duty work on our cars.
