Earliest Sunset of the year.
Welcome also from me Ickdeep.
I don't especially like cats, but that's a great portrait of yours. Today, although we are still a few days away from the shortest day, we reached our earliest sunset of the year. (Sunrise keeps getting later until 24th December). Sunset here today was at 15:25 and this image was taken just 2 minutes before that. Covesea Sunset_15.12.16 by Alan Butterfield, on Flickr

Alan, when you replace an image on Flickr, Flickr assigns it a new URL and breaks the link to anywhere you've posted it with BBCode, so we can't see your latest here.

Sorry Dave, when I looked at the image again, it was like the leaning Tower of Pisa, so I straightened it and replaced it on Flickr. I also replaced it in the above post but maybe I didn't do it properly.
Anyway, here's the upright version Covesea Sunset_15.12.16 by Alan Butterfield, on Flickr

Apologies for quality. Iphone in a dark hall. Had I known this was happening, I would have course brought gear, but last weekend while wine tasting, one of the wineries was doing a benefit for a big cat conservation group and they had a small demo. For 10 bucks we got wine tasting, some really good lamb stew, and a show by the cat wranglers. Tocho here is about a year and a half old.I wasn't worried, there were plenty of little kids in the first row if he got loose

Not only is that mating lions shot crisp, but the light is perfect and the interaction is intense.
