all the design cues, however it looks like it's a mule testing out all the optional M performance parts that will come for the car. Same MP looking exhaust choice as the M3/4, which I personally wouldn't touch with a 30 mile pole lol
You think those tail lights match? I'm not seeing it.

If true, then yeah much like the G8X performance parts all thrown together on one car, this is gaudy and should be stayed clear of.

Screams Civic Type R.

Yeah looks like it to me. I'd be very very surprised if this is a pic of another car

Definitely the g87 but with m performance parts. Fortunately we won't have to order any of those boy racer options.

As for comparisons to the civic type r, I agree although the next gen type r looks like it will actuallly be much tamer and nicer looking. Even has some German body lines and fenders. It's actually one of the alternatives I'm looking at to save money and have a nice reliable but sporty daily if the g87 flops.

Agreed on the CTR. I almost mentioned the old gen because the new gen looks sharp.

I think the quad exhaust setup suits the M2 better than the M3/M4. Not a fan of that spoiler though. Each to their own, at least we have options. I will go for the standard exhaust anyway, with some carbon package, if available.

It's almost as if BMW is sabotaging its own M Performance parts sector. Aftermarket companies are licking their lips right now.

Uck, I can't stand the new MP exhaust tip configuration. I know they say it benefits performance but to what extent. You're telling me that same level of performance couldn't have easily been gained somewhere else. Not worth doing away with the ///M quad tips.

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I since this is being built at the new plant in Mexico, does this mean there will be no Individual optioning, as with the new 2 series coupes?

No thanks. Not a fan of either the spoiler or the oddly stacked quad tips.

There was a press release with the President of M of a few months back where he stated ALL M cars will have the individual option...and that's really all we have to go off of.

This is going to be in direct competition with the Honda Civic Type R.. LOL The last good M car is the F90 M5, close second is the M8. G8x 2,3, & 4 are all trash looks wise.

I'd assume the M2 comes with more standard exhaust tips; this is just the M performance part if you want it.
