Yeah as it usually is with a brand new platform car 1st gen. Typically for this reason along with consumer reports and some R&D post release, I usually wait a year or 2 after to purchase. That’s pretty much why I got the 2024 and not the 2023- just due to price drops and further development.

I remember when Supra’s had that suspension issue/recall the first year they came out.

I just had an M Performance wheel. Called my SA today and he's gonna be trying to get some more information as all he sees and Genius is "work order opened" and "delayed". I am assuming its due to them not having the wheel in stock, but holy crap its been a week of the car at the VPC

Looks great. Tint makes the ZB pop more than when the windows are clear. Was done at my ppf shop immediately after delivery at the same time.

Not yet, mine was on Metis Leader and Genius told me that my car will be delivered to dealership(southern california) on christmas eve.

I got HAS port installed and it took 10 days, starting from arriving at the port to taking delivery at the dealer.

BMW Genius told me this morning that my car should be leaving the VPC (Vehicle Processing Center) and headed to the dealership on 12/24/23.

Anyone know how far from the flooded areas of Port Hueneme/Oxnard the VPC is? Seems like quite a few homes/cars were damaged with waist-deep water. Probably slows down things moving from VPC assuming no flood damage there...

This is longer than most but about what mine was due to waiting on parts at the time for the HAS install. When you checked was that also the reason for your delay?

Mine was originally scheduled to arrive at dealership on 12/24, then changed to 12/27 then suddenly arrived on 12/20. It might arrive early for you without a notice
