You have very good taste considering that Concord has an MSRP of $485,000. Most people aspire to a $7k Rolex for their first "expensive" watch, but you go all in.

This just arrived:

I'll be honest, I'm a little disappointed in the quality of feel. Yes, it's only a $460 watch, but it feels much cheaper than my Seiko which falls in a similar price bracket. I will be swapping the band out, as it is the main offender of sub-par feel. I was able to get it at pre-order pricing (about $100 off), and I'd say that's about the upper limit for what I think it's worth...I would not pay full price for this watch. Looks good though

It sucks to hear that; I was thinking of picking up a C5 Malvern.

i've noticed that Tag's Carrera series (esp the chronos) are extremely popular with BMW owners and i believe that there's some link with the styling/design that appeals to both groups.

i was definitely drawn to the Carrera day/date chrono but ultimately i decided against it because i thought it was a bit too common. also, if your watch is instantly recognizable people will size up your cash flow.

that's not good on the NYC subway system.

I'm a watch whore... I alternate between them but I usually wear my Rolex Explorer 2 daily.

1. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Ruberclad
2. Panerai PAM250
3. Rolex Daytona Black Face SS
4. Rolex Explorer 2 Black Face (daily)
5. Cartier Santos 100XL
6. Corum Admirals Cup 18k RG Bezel
7. Bvlgari Diagono Chrono Black Face
8. Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi Bezel
9. Bvlgari Carbongold Roma 125th Anniversary

Little teaser... cell phone shot of my AP ROO & PAM250

Did you take your watch for maintenance? An overhaul is recommended every 4-5 yrs to keep your Rolex timepiece working flawlessly.

I'm a big wristwatch type of guy. I have a Breitling, a Movado, and a Seiko. When I bought the Breitling I was going in for an Omega but they had the Breitling marked down to $3200 from $5000 so I couldn't back down, the Omega I initially went in for was $5200. I'm still looking for a James Bond Series Omega though...
