Styling is such a pesronal thing, I found the F22/F87 quite pleasant to look at but otherwise an anonymous design (having owned an F22 M240I), but anodyne overall. They have spent zero time in the car. No one who drives this car can tell you it's not great. If they do, they're an asshole and a liar - pretty simple.

Yes, you definitely seems passionate in that aspect, I was more so pointing out that you must really be impressed with the car and getting connected with it, and it's showing in your passion. But yeah, trolls gonna troll.

I realized people were not giving any thought to the m2 still not being past break in and the obvious limitation that brought, and decided to let them be willfully ignorant. Once a manual is broken in and we can rev higher it's going to have ridiculous pull that the crutch of awd won't be able to compare to.

I mean I don’t doubt that the M240i Xdrive is a hair quicker in a true 0-60 than the M2 just because of AWD. Anything beyond that like a rolling start, 1/4, etc. and I’m sure the M2 comes out on top.

Edit: forgot to mention the fact that none of the first day owners has theirs properly broken in yet either. Once the M240i Xdrive doesn’t have the advantage of AWD off the line, I’d imagine a broken in M2 would have no problem starting to pull away from it in a rolling race.

Feel free to look at my past comments on the G87 and you’ll find I never said i don’t like it, I’ve said if I didn’t already own a M2 that I’m happy with, I would consider a G87 in TR, it’s refreshing that BMW still makes such a car..

Let this be a lesson, don’t dare compare anyone’s gender in reference to the G87, no matter if in jest or otherwise, it will do nothing but derail the integrity of this great thread.
