My bestie is up from Halifax for the long weekend and brought some TNT and dipping sauce.

Shakshuka!
With whole wheat flatbread and turshi, middle eastern pickled vegetables. Pear for dessert. One of my favorites. Stewed veggies with suguk, middle eastern cured beef sausage. I left the egg out, it is traditionally poached in the hot stewed veggies. Turshi is interesting, first time for me. Quite sour with faint sweetness. Good! A variety of veggies in the turshi mix, I haven’t discovered all of them yet! |

I had what may be the last of my traditional Tuesday lemon pepper Buffalo Wild Wings, because my DW will be starting a new job next week and not passing by BWW to get the 50% off special any more.
To celebrate the occasion, BWW screwed up again and gave me wet lemon pepper and not dry. They are edible, but I really like the dry ones. I've posted the story here about how they screwed up my garlic parm wings order with dry lemon pepper wings a few years ago, which was how I discovered lemon pepper in the first place.....
