Looks identical to the leaks, how is everyone surprised? Red looks good, carbon buckets are great but everything else is as expected. Did I read it correctly that you can no longer get it without a sunroof unless you get CF roof/package?

iDrive 8 looks comical in a smaller form factor. I am glad some people are pleased, more sales means more potential for design improvements.

Personally I don't think it looks attractive, and I would not buy a car I didn't want to look at. Perhaps it is a tactic, now I'm considering an M5 when I was hoping to get a G80.

Rear is still a mess, fat pig, and the dash screen is atrocious. Sure, looks okay at certain angles, not the rear, but still a let down for me.

I do like the CEOs M/Puma half-zip, though...

It could have been a lot worse. It could have been XM on cocaine.

Same here, my G05 with vernasca leather has the ventilated seat option so disappointing to see not being offered for the G87. On the upside, heated steering wheel is a standalone option rather than being part of a pricey exec package or something...

Still not really feeling the square openings on the front bar, but maybe someone can bring out an aftermarket 90s WRX style round driving light conversion for the outer front vents

Otherwise, looks better than recent efforts - has more in common with the e36 M3 front end than the e30 that someone mentioned earlier in the thread.

Looks awful. The 2 series design language is just a mess IMO. G8X took a major step forward and now they release this??? Eh

They ABSOLUTELY nailed it! It looks good and will perform even better. What a beast. I'm glad I never hopped on the G87 hate train lmao.

Love front
Great engine with 6spd
All the plush and latest BMW features

Rear looks like Kia Rio for some reason

Maybe LCI will fix that

I have no idea how this forum goes from shit to diamond in 1 day. The leaks are exactly the same as the official pics with some editing and higher definition. The design still looks like ass 🤣

You mean massive body roll, a steering system that is not connected to the front wheels, and the engine note played through the speaker system?!?!?!?!

I know no one cares about 0-60 anymore...But 4.1 seconds for the auto and 4.3 seconds for the manual? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the F87 posts better numbers doesn't it?

Not for me, but that's subjective. The fact it weighs 3,800lbs…not subjective! How does that car weigh so much?

I had a 2013 z06 with the z07 package. I think it was around 3,100lbs…while this will be a quick car I'm not sure it would feel anything like that z06 considering the hp and weight advantage. While not an apples to apples comparison both cars are track oriented (essentially) two seaters.

I'm betting with the auto gearbox it will be more competitive when it comes to speed.

Looking forward to some real world driving reviews.
