Mine got pushed from 26 Feb to 1st week May.. that's over 2 months but July sounds a stretch. What are your specs?

TR, MT, Carbon experience for the bucket seats
I feel like 4 months is a bit of a stretch too!

I wonder if certain dealers get a lower allocation. Ask your dealer when they are expecting their first m2 to arrive.

Nothing out of the ordinary - unless you changed things along the way. Hearing any amendments are also pushing production dates out, which is expected.

We have an order in this forum from Rushcutters that has moved to 112 status, so looking likely that the first M2s will come from there and the CBD.

As I’d mentioned earlier, mine slipped 2 months.

I think one thing to keep in mind is how will they handle holding things up to be able to send a full ship to Australia.

It will probably come with a lot of other cars - 3 series, 240i etc and a number of demo M2s as well.

Agreed but it will probably cause some builds to ve delivered on time and some to be (slightly) delayed.

And they are coming from Mexico, not sure Aus has had many cars from there as yet, who knows the route and how often they will transit to Asia/Aus.

I am looking at putting in an order for a M2. Just wondering if there are any movement on prices in Sydney or is the price fixed? thanks in advance

Think this differs by dealer and any existing relationships you may have with dealers. Apart from the carbon package, the only price differential is delivery charge which the dealer sets.

I haven't gone to the dealers yet. I will go this week. I don't need a car until next year so I think timing should be fine.

Thanks. I haven't bought a BMW for many years so don't really have any existing relation. Hopefully they are not fixed on pricing like Mercs and Porsches

At the moment, none of the dealers need to move on price because they are taking as many orders as they can. They have many more buyers than cars.

Seeing the M2 in person next week at a dealer in Sydney. Give your local a ring, it's finally doing the rounds. Test drive not an option but am still stoked!

I'm going to wait to see mine as the first M2 in the flesh hopefully in May/June.
