94 lbs is the dimensional shipping wieght due to the large size of the package. It doesn’t actually weight 95 lbs but the package categorizes in the range due to its size.

No for sure, I had a carbon splitter ship once that said it weighed 60lbs.

Exhaust came in today, big shout out to getbmwparts shipped they were 300-400 cheaper than my local dealer. The box it came in was kinda silly to include a pallet. Larger than 5ft x 5ft but everything seemed in tact which was my biggest worry, UPS around here typically delivers broken items. Was going to tackle putting it on myself but luckily for me the harbor freight jack died on me while lifting the car even luckier 0 damage to the car. Hopefully Ill have it back today and I can get some videos.

Honestly though can't thank GetBMWparts enough very transparent that it would take them 4-6 weeks to get.

Getbmwparts description says it’s titanium. Sure doesnt look titanium and for the price didn’t think it would be.

Going to a bmw meet up this weekend will get some clips think someone with a stock 240 exhaust will be there. Either way initial impressions its still fairly quiet. Its def got more burbbles and pops but imo still needs a downpipe. It sounds great just maybe 20-30% louder than stock in sport/sport plus. Comfort and cruising its barely noticeable. Really only notice it once you are going coming to a stop and higher in the RPMs during spirited pulls. Worth the money? Probably not, I think if you want sound skip it just do a muffler delete with some resonators or wait for more exhausts to become available. If you want something pretty mild that opens up a bit more up top but still very civil driving around without bringing a ton of attention then its probably the perfect setup for you.

Would you say say it’s louder or the same as stock during cold starts (valve closed)?

How's the weight compared to stock? Is it any lighter?

I appreciate the feedback.

After my break-in period, I'm leaning towards muffler delete with the bullet resonators.

It's def louder. The valves on cold start will always be open from my understanding. But it is probably 20-30% louder cold start now.

Here is a good clip of how it sounds. No other exhaust mods just the MPE.

If you install all OEM parts and BMW service installs them it’s fine. It won’t affect lease turn in. I’ve done this many times. (They make more money re-selling the car as well)

I’ve seen them in person. It’s not a misprint, I can assure you it’s titanium.

The exhaust being discussed in this thread is not Titanium. You can clearly see in the photos and videos that it isnt. The price doesnt make sense for titanium either. I personally own 3 titanium exhausts and have handled the material enough to be quite familiar with how it looks and how it is fabricated. This exhaust shown here, not titanium. I am under the impression that some of the other M Performance exhausts ARE titanium though (price between 5000-7000, versus this one at under 2k), so I think thats where the confusion comes in.

To further reinforce from someone who handled it, up above notice one of the owners saying "I didnt weigh it but felt a bit lighter. Probably not enough to matter.". That is not words spoken by anyone talking about a titanium exhaust. A full catback titanium exhaust and large rear muffler you can pick up with just a few fingers and you wouldnt shrug off the weight difference over a steel exhaust.
