With Romine catching, should increase our chances of winning this game.

He's too good to simply get rid of. He'll figure it out, just needs to stick to his game. He slows the game down to his own pace, thus being in complete control of hitters. It makes sense why he's struggled in the Postseason, the game certainly speeds up. Just needs to stick to his game, and we'll be golden. With a rested bullpen, we only really need 4-5 strong. Bring in Green for a couple, Robertson and Kanhle for a couple, and close out with Chapman...assuming, of course, our bats decide to show up (which they have at home).

Feeling pretty damn good about this series. I think it's very realistic we can take 3/3 at home, and head back to Houston only needing 1/2. Houston's bullpen is very inconsistent and vulnerable, just need to knock starter out by 4/5, and in a game of bullpens, we have an edge.

Fingers crossed!
Where the fuck have you been? I don't have good vibes for Sonny Gray.

Keuchel is due for a whipping. Hopefully Yankees pour it on him tomorrow. This team is so fun to watch. I hope Sanchez woke up today, and could start contributing with his bat. Go Yankees.

Tanaka Malaka has been so good this postseason. Now back to Houston, and take one. It's not going to be easy, but fun to watch. Go Yankees.

The Yankees are playing loose, soft hands while Houston is playing tight. Verlander will be ready tomorrow night, though I doubt he'll be as dominant as he was in game 2. Even if the Yankees lose tomorrow night, I feel comfy with CC on the mound for game 7. However, this team is on a mission and they have proven me wrong twice this postseason and I can't see them being denied.

Sanchez, even though he's a great talent with the bat, scares me behind the plate. Does anyone know if Severino has a better ERA with Romine catching vs Sanchez?

Yanks' pitching has been lights out, and has almost dictated how their offense, and Astros' offense and pitching plays. Can't count on getting a win against Verlander, but I agree, I feel comfortable with Big Game CC on the mound Game 7. Guy has pitch when the spotlight's on him. Know I say this a lot...but still can't believe this is the same guy (CC) that contemplated retiring this season due to knee pain. Hopefully his knee doesn't cause him discomfort.

No idea, but if I had to guess, I bet Sevy has a lower ERA with Sanchez behind the plate (have a close bond, always seem on the same page). Romine's a very good defensive catcher, but we simply cannot afford his auto-out bat in the lineup against Verlander. Before Headley came up big the last couple games, I always believed Torreyes should've DH'ed...dude can put the ball in play and get on base. But now it seems we have good options at DH.

Still very fearful of this Astros lineup. They can light up the scoreboard like it's an NFL game. Just need to stay away from those big innings (4, 5 run innings) and we should have a chance.

As of now I believe Tommy Kahnle is their best arm in the pen, followed by Wild Chaps and then a solid 3rd Roberston. I can see Girardi using Chaps for the final 6 outs tomorrow night and IMHO, even though he's well rested, I wouldn't be confident in that decision. I don't want to see Betances unless it's a blowout 9-1 Yankee lead in the 8th inning.

Astro's pen blows so if we can get to them, Houston...we haz problems.
