I don't know beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When the new 2 series came out in the Thundernight Metallic I loved it, much more than the previous generation.

Lmao. Hate to break it to you, but your f87 looks dated, soft, short, bubbly and feminine. I had two f87's and could never get over how much of a Barbie car they looked like. I drove next to one for an hour on the freeway yesterday, and confirmed everything above yet again.

The CS makes it a legit beast. Other than that I completely agree.

I'll pass and see what the aftermarket world can do with this new design, which I am not a big fan of right out of the gate.
I'm hoping the M2 will be my next car as I don't use my back seat enough. But I'm in no hurry, I'm still in love with the M3 for now.

When we first saw the car, lots of comments about lack of cohesion. Why is there something missing at the bottom of the front bumper? Because they want you to buy a front lip to make it look decent. Why the weird insets in the rear bumper? They want to sell you the carbon fiber inserts for the Civic pontoon boat look.
This car was sketched out with a lot of these parts in mind from the start. Older M cars look a lot more cohesive without having to add anything else. In previous generations M Performance parts were to enhance the look, not complete it. |

I'd rock it in all black. Keep the awkwardly cut out spokes SAIs for a set of black BBS FIR Evos if BBS ever gets around to making them due to the glut of NASCAR orders.
Well done BMW M. Haven't said that in a while.

I don't have the kit so I can't comment about them specifically, but I'm 99% sure the ride will be stiffer than stock based on other user feedback of the KW H.A.S. kit and my experience with the AST springs I used to lower my car.

I guess this is the result when the original Motorsports division mostly exits motorsports.
You start making clown cars that accelerate in straight lines. I was at COTA this weekend running with Chin Track Days. Not a single G8X car out there. I think that says a lot about the direction of M cars and who's buying them.
