Drivers will have to carry an extra case of rubbers from all the women throwing themselves at the car owners from the increase in horsepower.

Michelin PS4S rubbers are the best. They can handle an arbitrary number of women

If I was a betting man, I would say it will NOT come with the flat bottmed steering wheel.

Colors, there has been plenty of posted speculation. For this, its a wait and see...

If you have read up on the i8.5, you would know as of now, its not an improvement over the i8.0.

Oh, as long as you are throwing the "I know people" around, my best friend works for BMW NA, he has received no definite info on the MY25 changes, the G87 M2CS or LCI.
Don't envy 8.5, or care about 20HP but would lust after the flat bottom steering wheel if true.

Given its assembled in Mexico and not Germany with the M4 I suspect it may not get the new steering wheel yet, perhaps in the LCI. Easy to add in the aftermarket if you want it though.

Yeah I miss that after having in my S5 for five years.

I have a feeling the flat bottomed steering wheel will not be in the base model. The CS, Comp or possibly LCI, yes.

Just wanted to bump this to give credit where credit is due. Some people jumped down his throat claiming illegitimate sources, and it turns out he was bang on according to Tag, with the colours AND the steering wheel.

Now just waiting to see where the Voodoo Blue gets announced, even if I have to pay the individual cost.

Not trying to be pedantic, but the extra torque is only for AT. Just trying to stem any further potential butthurt comments.

Out of curiosity, why are you lusting after the flat bottom wheel? I have one in my GTI, meh.

I’m not sure what that would have to do with anything. Given they ship carbon seats made in Munich and engines assembled in Austria to Mexico I’m pretty sure a steering wheel revision is not a problem.

The factory cars are assembled in has a big influence on what options are available. A 3 series built in Europe can option nappa leather, a carbon roof, acoustic glass for example. Cars built in Mexico get none of those things. Given the 3 LCI gets the flat bottom wheel and is also built in Mexico suggests there is quite a good chance the M2 gets it too.

A lot of options in the US were killed after 2020 due to supply chain, acoustic glass on the X5 for example. Other options are just about streamlining manufacturing, you cant get an M2 or a 3/4 series with a slick top, they call come with moon roofs. Given the 3 series has the flat bottom wheel, from a product positioning standpoint seems like they are giving it to everything so it's a wash anyway.
