curious, the videos stated they use rivets. do they supply you the drill bit, rivets and optional self tappers? after seeing how they drill holes (R44 does the same) im afraid of drilling right thru the bumper trim pieces!
Also xtougher installed the front splitter and sideskirts already and they turned out great. He would be in a better position to answer what comes with the kit. I am hoping the drill bit comes with it like R44s kit does.

Awesome you ordered this! Now, you may have said this already in various places, but...when do you get your car?? I've been off the forums for a bit, so I missed a lot of news, I'm sure!

As for the side skirts: the shape of them just sort of guides you.

I think I know what you mean, and it truly is a bit more difficult to ask/answer with just words.

But the side skirts are "thicker" in the places that are visible while standing next to the car, while the part that goes under the car (where the screws go, etc.) and can only be seen while under the car is "thinner".

So you can put the thin part under the car, and make sure the thick part is visible.

There is double-sided tape involved, so you'll just be able to press before you help with the screws.

Geez...words are difficult.

But TL;DR it's actually intuitive once you see it.

Hope that helps!!

There he is!! Thanks man for replying. Yeah, I am glad I ordered too. I was debating whether I get them now or wait a bit. My wife (god bless her) said it is not worth waiting if you can save over $350 over regular price....BOOM!! I pulled the trigger.

I know what you mean about the thickness of the part that is exposed and the thin part goes under the car. That def helps you figure out where they are supposed to be placed along the side of the car.

Does the hardware come with the drill bit or just the self tapping screws? I know R44 provides everything and I was really wanting their MHC front splitter but the price was more than what I wanted to pay. With the sale I ended up paying $863 for the front splitter. At that price it was a no brainer for me.

As far as the car goes, someone who had an order in 112 status backed out and my sales guy asked if I wanted it. I said heck yes! So he put my order in but was bumped to 102 status. I ended up going with Twilight Purple and seeing how a lot of forum members who have selected an individual color have had a long wait, I think I will get my car June/July next year? Just guessing.

Thanks for the update!

And yes, the sale timing stuff is definitely a no brainer, particularly if you're already set on getting the stuff.

Mine did not come with any drill bits. Didn't bother me since we had a bunch but just came with the self-tapping screws.

Looking forward to seeing your car with all the stuff!!

Also, are you all getting the rear bumper corner pieces?

I opted not to get them for now, but wondering if it feels like it's missing something, or kinda doesn't matter either way.

I'm on the fence after seeing other pics.

I have the front lip and side skirts, and I already had the rear diffuser as a port installed option.

Thanks!

I got them this past Monday and my car will have port installed defuser. I like how the winglets looked. Only thing I didn’t get were the mirror caps.

Nice. I'll keep them in mind and maybe I'll get them at some point in the future!

So far I am very pleased with the visual quality of the side skirts. They feel solid, nice pattern, waxed, quality. I got the V1 rear diffuser, which looks great as well. I'll install when I can, got way more carbon shit coming in the next few weeks.

You've never modded a car before? This is the best worst hobby ever. Look, at least we're not wasting money on booze, drugs, or any other vice. It's a fun hobby and mostly a great community. Also if you think this shit is expensive, buy watches.

Tape and screws. That's all that is included as far as hardware.

I can't wait to get the side skirts. I have to wait because they will ship them with the front splitter I also purchased but there is a 2 to 4 week lead time.

i guess they used the term "rivets" loosely in the install video

the three piece splitter requires additional screws/rivets at each section. i am nervous about drilling at the center portion and ensuring i dont pierce thru the top side of the black bumper trim.

getting the one piece splitter looks like a smart move if it means less additional screws.

They do use rivets and a rivet gun in their install videos on YouTube.

I went with the one piece because I was nervous that if I got the 3 piece that the 3 pieces may not line up properly or there may be gaps between the pieces.

I wouldn’t worry about going through the bumper. The screws that they provide are short enough that they wouldn’t go through. If you are nervous, you can go to Home Depot or Lowes and just get shorter self tappings but make sure they are stainless steel.
