Without seeing ANY 2025s on dynos yet, all of this is just pulling it out of one's ass, as it were.
Need multiple 2024's next to multiple 2025s, same dynos, same days. We'll know if a month or two.

Of course nothing has been done to the motor. This is tuning. Been discussed many times. Same thing happens every revision of the G80/G82 - this is no different. BMW just send the LCIs, Comps, CSs, CSLs all out with their own hotter tune. This is no different.

8.5 should be compatible for 2023-2024 models with a simple software flash once the 2025 models are released. I believe all the hardware is the same.
People already flashing the DME’s ( no unlock needed since it’s factory bmw software ) in 2023-2024 models to gain the little bit of xtra power the 2025’s come with… I’m assuming they can also flash new software to 8.5….

My stock 2024 M2 on a Dyno, made the same HP they claim the LCI will have.
Also the 0-60 and Nm figures still the same as the 2024 spec. My opinion, no power increase, all the M2's made this power from day one they now claim the LCI will have. |

With MY 2025s gradually rolling in, does anyone have luck finding the parts number for this new badge? I can't find them anywhere in major retailers still.

Weird thing…the part number is the same as the original black badge, but I’d wait a bit before ordering so they send you the correct one. Or verify with BMW parts rep.
