Hmmm, which car, which car. How about the 360 Stradale? Ya, that's the one I want! I'll pretend its a BMW. Edit, changed my mind. A real BMW: http://****************/pics/m3090106/ |

I don't know how your camera works, or if it allows you to adjust the shutter speed, you may have to look that up in your manual. Try taking photos of the car with the tripod, with the lights on, an hour before sunset and during sunset. It may look too bright out but it will probably be ok. If it is any darker you may need to use the shutter.

also one thing i should add is if you can find out where to change your ISO setting put it on 50 or 100, and no higher because it usually makes sunset/night photos look grainy on point and shoot cameras. The ISO will help if you have unsteady hands to make the photo less blurry but if you're using a tripod or a flat surface to put the camera on you won't need to use it really.

here's what I mean, see the graininess on the car, that is caused by using an ISO of more than 100 on a point and shoot. One major advantage of an SLR is that you can use a very high ISO without grain issues with them.
