Yep...My first car was bought by my parents--an old 3 series coupe beater, and though i was a hardworking student still they didnt owe me crap other than a roof and some food! All that studying and work that i did benefits me not them; entitlements are way out of control these days. Everybody has a right to everything

she didn't ask them to BUY it
she asked her mom to co-sign.. that's really 2 different things!

You sure it wasn't the other way around? Though it technically affects both person's credit equally, the more established party is often the "buyer" while the less established party is often the "co-buyer" from the perspective of the loaning institution.
